Ease of use! I was skeptical that one coat of paint would cover an old finish and that a project could be completed in a day. But the system worked and my sister and I painted two pieces in a day. The system and process is simple and easy to follow. If you see a great piece or have pieces that have been passed down in your family, it is a very doable solution to update and/or refresh them to accommodate your decor. The gift of time by not having to strip, sand and prime is significant.
I see the potential in everything. If there is a piece of furniture that I’m not fond of I know I can paint it and create a whole new look. I have had a desk that my husband inherited from his grandmother for several years that I wasn’t very fond of but he insisted on keeping it. I painted and dark waxed it and now it is one of my favorite pieces in my home.
I just wanted to share a couple of photos of my very first project. It is my kitchen island and it is 125″ long and 36″ wide with 8 drawers and 4 doors and a bookshelf. We had to replace the cooktop, which meant a new countertop and your class inspired me to finish off the base. It was like “Go big or go home”, so I jumped right in. Anyway, thanks for the great lesson and for giving me the inspiration and courage to try!! I am thrilled with the outcome and would love to try two colors next!!
Just a quick note to say that I love your new paint line!!
The colors are beautiful and it goes on so smooth and silky. The gray wax is fabulous. I’m getting some great new looks with your paint but most of all I’m having fun using them!! Hope all is well.
I love your new line of paints; the colors and waxes are great. It makes me want to redo everything!!!!
I love the paint, it was so easy!
